Macbuzzer Big Bundle Deal

Macbuzzer is offering a very a good price, $19.95 (126SEK), for $484 (3,104SEK) worth of software) for a bundle of Mac Software. The price will go up by $1 (6.4SEK) everyday for 10 days, which is how long the deal lasts.

While I’m not buying it (I bought apps that can take care of those needs many bundles ago, lol) I certainly do believe this is worth a look.

That said, do be careful if you plan on upgrading to OS X 10.7 Lion. After all, there may be apps in this bundle offering to do what Lion should do for free, so be and check.

Laterz. ;)

Spotify Closer to A Deal In the U.S.

It looks like Spotify is closer to a deal in the U.S. Whether or not you folks in the land of red, white, and blue know it, this is a very good thing.

Spotify is a very cool music streaming service. Presently, one gets to choose from 13 million tracks, but I’m hoping that number will increase once the U.S. deal is signed. Everyone knows there’s a lot more music to be had in U.S. markets.

A few quick things really I like about Spotify:

  • Easy to use interface. This matters a great deal to folks who don’t want to spend too much time figuring out how things work.
  • The ability to share music on Facebook. Those of you who are my Facebook friends have surely seen the occasional song I share from my Spotify account.
  • If a Facebook friend who has a Spotify account is interested in that song, they can simply click on the link and have a listen. If they really like the song they can simply click the “Get” button to buy it.
There’s an awful lot of selling potential here, and I’m guessing record labels are finally starting to understand, regarding digital music, the genie is not going back in the bottle. It’s time to adjust and make it easier for people to buy their product. Even if they have to lower the price.
I think this is something we should keep our eyes on.
Oh, btw! I have invites. So be ready to ask if this happens. ;)

It’s Starting to Look More Grim for RIM

Okay. Now I’m starting to wonder if the hangers-on of the Blackberry legacy are starting to realize how serious the threat from Apple has become. It’s one thing when a person who simply appreciates Apple products simply writes about it in his blog. It’s another thing entirely when the investors with money start realizing it. I’m willing to bet they’ve paid attention to what’s on the horizon in iOS 5. Things like iMessage, which will certainly impact Blackberry Messenger Service business.

Things really are looking more grim for RIM.
