Something that caused me a bit of frustration as a new Mac user was not being able to find (quickly) the Mac-equivalent to the everyday keyboard and desktop tasks I was used to performing in Windows. Something as simple as forward-deleting (like one does by simply pressing the “delete” key on Windows laptops) on my MacBook Pro was driving me nuts!

I found this helpful page in the Support section of the Apple web site that should help out the new switchers out there who may be encountering the same frustration. It’s definitely worth a glance.

BTW, for anyone wondering what the solution to forward-deleting on a MacBook Pro is it’s “fn+backspace” keys.
